Little update on the sword. After some tinkering with the maps, the sword is slowly getting ready to be trialed in the game engine.
The color layer needs a bit more work and the current texture size will have to be resampled from 1024×1024 to 256×256, but it is almost finished.
Special thanks to Ace-Angel and Drew++ from the Polycount forums for writing the Dota 2 Shader for maya. Been having fun playing around with it and it certainly makes the map creation lot easier.
