About Me

I am currently working at Ubisoft Redlynx in Helsinki, Finland, as a character and technical artist. I see myself as a well rounded generalist, capable of wearing many hats to suit the job at hand.

 

Being born and raised in Ivalo, Finnish Lapland, I feel like I have been extremely lucky being able to pursue my passion working on the creative field across the world.

The Lord of the Rings movies took me to study and work all the way to New Zealand in 2009, and since then I’ve also worked in London and Beijing.

In all locations I have been able to contribute to many amazing projects and had a chance to meet and work alongside with very creative talents.

 

With over 8 years of professional experience in both digital and physical design and modelmaking, I am accustomed to combine artistic vision with a practical approach to planning and execution.

I have always had a soft spot for a character design and I often tend to come back to the subject through multiple mediums. Such as life drawing, sculpture, and these days mostly through digital sculpting/modeling.
